PSGB Wins "Battle of Lake Erie"
Craft Brew Competition
Pearl Street Grill & Brewery has won the first annual "Battle of Lake Erie" Craft Brew Competition hosted by the WNY Beer Club and TheWoodenBarrel.com at WJ Morrisey Irish Pub in conjunction with Buffalo Beer Week. PSGB used a one-two punch of Lune' d'bleu Belgian Witbier and Saber's Edge Double IPA to blow away the competition in a field that included beers from Great Lakes Brewing (Cleveland), Rohrbach's (Rochester), Erie Brewing (Erie PA), and that other brewery currently operating in Buffalo. The winner was determined by popular vote of event attendees who tasted each brew offered and then were asked to select their favorites. A trophy was presented to PSGB Brewmaster Phil Internicola.
